LAURA ILLUX - Intermission Ltd., Satellite Records, EC Army - Brooklyn LAURA ILLUX is known for on point track selection, tight mixing, & genre-jumping flexibility. She has been working dance floors since the turn of the millennium, from her native New England to Philly, Detroit, and Dallas, as far as Barcelona & Amsterdam. Now based in Brooklyn, her focus has shifted to production, but she continues to spin House, Techno, Minimal, bass-heavy Anti-genre sets, & the occasional all-vinyl Drum n Bass performance. Allied with Intermission Ltd. record label & Satellite Records online electronic music store, she divides her time & efforts between the studio, her weekly dj residency at TASTE (@ Cadaqués - Williamsburg Brooklyn), & supporting her community & the music she loves hosting an after-hours internet radio show. Episodes of her show "Sunday Sanctuary" cover a wide range of formats including house, techno, deep tech, electronica, nu disco, & bass music genres. Featuring guest DJs/producers, she provides artist, release & event info to an international audience Sundays 6am-10am from Brooklyn-based station We Take No Requests Radio. Thursdays she delivers a delicious deep audio menu selection live at TASTE, serving up the finest in nu disco, deep tech house, indie dance & uk funky.
