(Love Sound Project, S.O.U.P NYC) began DJing in 1993 after being expososed to NYC's undergroud dance events of the early 90's, such as the now legendary NASA. He moved to the Syracuse area in 1993 and found a budding scene that was centered around and contained inside Club Chameleon. Known then as Enkay, he became friends and, short lived, business partners with Phato. The planet parties were born and took upstate by storm. The first party "Jupiter" was one of the first to bring in outside DJ's to perform. Moby was the first headliner. The great success of "Jupiter" coupled with the limitations of the club led to "Neptune". Held at the North East's largest indoor amusement park with a DJ line-up that would rival the parties of NYC. In 1995 Nick moved back to the Middletown, NY area and continued his involvement in the party scene. He produced multiple parties through out upstate, NY and most notable, was A series of Loft parties that hosted DJ's such as Cajmere, Joey Beltram, Scott Richmond, and Jon Selway. Nick started Atomic Records in 1997, which was finally a place local DJs could find underground music outside of NYC. The name was quickly changed to Frequency Records and business began to grow. In 1999 Nick sold his share of the Middletown record store but stayed on as the stores record buyer. He remained a part of the upstate electronic music scene and DJ’ed regularly throughout the North East over the next couple years under the name Enkay. After Moving to Brooklyn, a life changing event in 2009 sparked life back into his musical ambitions and he was abducted into the Love Sound Project, a collaboration of house music DJ’s and producers. Since joining Love Sound Project Nick's career has quickly grown and he is back on the decks regularly playing throughout NYC and across the state. Nick Jagger is currently one of the resident DJ’s at S.O.U.P. (Supporting Our Underground Properly) in NYC.
