Tim Bernyk started spinning due to an interest in electronic music beyond writing and performing it while in an industrial band. He started playing guitar at an early age and joined his first hardcore band in 1989 at the age of 14. He began spinning in 1998 after toying with the idea many years before that. “I can remember getting out of all ages hardcore/metal shows and meandering across town to an underground place where the beats pumped; a stark contrast to the place I just came from.” Back in those days it was acid techno and house which led to progressive trance and also drum and bass. These days, his interests are mainly getting back to the roots of techno, rocking deep house and psychedelic trance with a nod to the progressive. He is also spinning industrial and EBM. He is currently working on music which blends rock, dark wave, new wave and other influences.
