Born and raised in a small suburban town in Connecticut Syruz always had a passion for music at a very young age. During his early teenage years he got his first set of turntables and started to teach himself to dj, heavily influenced by dj's such as Jazzy Jeff, A-trak, Craze, and Qbert he quickly he become engulfed in the turntablism scene, doing showcase performances and entering local dj battles as well as the DMC's which is the largest worldwide DJ Competition. During the years of battling Syruz become involved in the local Hip Hop scene djing for some local hip hop groups that performed shows in multiple states in the New England area. Syruz always wanted to keep progressing with music, never staying the same, and constantly trying to push the envelope which got him introduced to drum n bass, dubstep, and house music. Syruz started to dj parties and clubs from CT to NC, and played at the 2011 WMC's in Miami Florida. Since then he started to produce music for the dance floor and released tracks on some small record labels at the end of 2011. His track "Switchup" has recieved alot of support from such dj's as Roger Sanchez and Antoine Clamaran. Syruz's style is still developing and he is working on taking elements from his past in hip hop and drum n bass to create some very unique house music. He is sure to rock any dance floor so keep a lookout for him in the upcoming years as he is a very talented and versatile artist.
