Teckaiser is a new project recently created by Miguel Montez,
inspired by Techno artists he has always been devoted to electronic
music, after living in London that surely sparked even more his
interest, Miguel returns to Madeira and there developed most of his
work. Taking every performance with great dedication he saw his work
recognized by starring in various events that also gathered artists
like : Dj Jiggy, Trentemoller, Danny Howells, Andy Moor, Steve
Angello, Sharam, Steve Lawler, Sebastien Leger, Hernan Cattaneo, John
Digweed amongst many others.
These events allowed him to stand out and gain an important roll in
the islands dance scene, making every performance count he managed to
develop an accurate technique behind the decks. In the process he also
began to create his own tracks, like many other artists the leap to
production allowed him to explore and create new music with it´s own
perspective, between producing and performing he also had a weekly one
hour set on radio Antena 3.
As an artist he tries to gather a dynamic vibe to his music, although
he only released his first EP “Amigo” last year on MK837, he has been
producing for over 5 years now. Passionate and dedicated he is
constantly looking to improve, never sticking to the same process you
can notice his energy and dynamism in every track. Last summer he
decided to move from Madeira and is currently living in Barcelona.
