THE ROGUE AGENTS are ANDR3X, CPNS, and VIBESHOCK. They come from different walks of life with different experiences but share a common thread...Music. The story begins with ANDR3X at a club in Orange County, California called Avec. It was January 2010, the dawn of a new decade and Avec had just opened its doors. A brand new multi-million dollar venue and home to ELEKTRONIK, a Saturday weekly event dedicated to exposing all genres of Electronic Dance Music as well as promoting new and undiscovered talent. Created and managed by ANDR3X himself, he hand-picks artists through careful research. A multi-talented veteran of the scene, ANDR3X not only has an extensive background in promotions but music as well. As a musician, his resume includes working at Yamaha and EMU starting in 1997, programming and sound designing for several of their synthesizers and drum machines. He is also a resident DJ for GIANT, one the largest EDM promotion companies in the United States which regularly books such acts as TIESTO, ARMIN VAN BUUREN, and ABOVE and BEYOND to name a few. On the promotion side, ANDR3X first started promoting and organizing underground events and early Rave festivals in 1994. Currently, he is head of marketing and talent bookings for his own ELEKTRONIK while also working with GIANT with bookings and marketing as well. With his unique insight into the business from a combination of roles and responsibilities, not only does he know how to expose and promote the music but more importantly, how to bring it to the next level by cultivating a scene. “I created ELEKTRONIK as a home for music lovers of Electronic Music. It wasn’t necessarily about the headliner which was the business model behind most other EDM events, but purely about the music.” “Build it and they will come” and ELEKTRONIK did exactly that... drawing in DJs, producers, and clubbers throughout Southern California every Saturday night to experience the adrenaline that was pumping out from DJs playing their hearts out. One such DJ was Corey Perdue aka CPNS. A multi-skilled musician and EDM patron, he understood what ELEKTRONIK represented and immediately began supporting the events through promoting as well as DJing. His involvement continued with ANDR3X in the studio where they both laid the ground work for THE ROGUE AGENTS. A graduate of the critically acclaimed Musicians Institute in Hollywood and a highly sought after bass player, CPNS toured with several popular Billboard acts, including Korn and Outkast Grammy-winning producer Sleepy Brown to name a few. His passion and desire to immerse himself in all forms of music gave him an eclectic yet unique edge and perspective to EDM. “I think it’s important to embrace all types of music to truly tap into your creativity” CPNS quotes. Without a doubt, the combination of ANDR3X’s technical experience as well as his refined taste for EDM coupled with CPNS’s academic and broad-range of musical influences ignited music production to uncharted levels. As the momentum of THE ROGUE AGENTS began to build up like layers of automation in a proper EDM track, an unexpected element swept in and brought everything to a completely different level. That element was Javier Jauregui aka VIBESHOCK. An eccentric musician, he followed his heart and listened to the music for guidance. Born into a family of artists, he is a second generation drummer following in his fathers footsteps. As a teen-ager he played in several bands along with touring with his father’s band all over Mexico, Central America, and South America. After experiencing his first Rave, it became clear to him this music was what he wanted to produce and share with the world. “This music is spiritual. It soothes the heart and mind and I just want to pass that feeling along the same way it has filled my life” quotes VIBESHOCK. Fixated and obsessed, he cared only about one thing: producing Electronic Dance Music. A well- published EDM producer, he has several tracks that have received strong support from many high profile DJs, one in particular is his track “Invasion” heard and selected by PAUL OAKENFOLD to be on the “PERFECTO LAS VEGAS” compilation in 2009. “Everything happens for a reason” and in the case of THE ROGUE AGENTS music is their reason.
